If you have a specific prayer request, contact our Confidential Prayer line at 403-269-3701 ext. 231. You are also welcome to receive private prayer for a personal concern by visiting our Chapel following our morning services. A member of Central’s prayer team will be there to meet with you.
Counselling
Counselling is available as a ministry of Central United Church. If you are in need of spiritual, personal, relationship, addictions (i.e. relapse prevention, fifth step, recovery) or grief counselling please feel free to contact Central to set up an appointment/referral with one of our pastor’s, counsellor’s, or partner agency counsellor’s.
Support Groups & Recovery Meetings
Central hosts a wide variety of 12 Step Recovery based support groups throughout the week. In addition to our hosted groups we are gladly able to refer you to various other support groups throughout the city. Please contact our office @ 403-269-3701 for referral.
Al-Anon : Tuesday & Thursday 12-1pm (RM 3)
Calgary Young Offenders Centre: Mon & Wed – mentoring; 1st Tues of the month – AA Meeting; Friday 6-7 Chapel
Cocaine Anonymous: Sunday 7:30pm (RM 1)
Alcoholics Anonymous: Mon & Thur 12-1pm (Dining RM); Sundays 4-5pm (RM 3).
Celebrate Life Recovery: Sunday 6-7pm (Sanctuary)
Narcotics Anonymous: Monday, Wednesday, Friday @ 12pm (RM 3)
